Sleepy Swing

Nathan FINALLY likes the swing!!!

He likes it so much he actually fell asleep in it. And trust me he WANTS his head like that. I tried to straighten it out, but he fussed and just slammed it right back down on the toy tray part. Looks comfortable huh?

And here’s a poop story for your reading pleasure:

So Nate’s last poop was Friday morning. He didn’t poop all day on Saturday, so this Sunday morning I was getting concerned. Well there seemed to be an odor iminating from his pants when i was feeding him, so I checked it out. Well if you can imagine what a baby poop looks like that’s been marinating for 2 days, just take that image and mutiply it by about 10!!!! GROSS!!!! Mama cleaned it up real good though and luckily it was on a disposable diaper instead of our nice fluffy cloth diapers. Wasn’t that sweet? Don’t you feel like you were THERE!

I’m blogging again

K…Since I’m outta school for a few months and I know I’m going to be bored outta my mind waiting on baby Nathan to get here (just 10 weeks left), I’ve decided to revive my blog. I’ve changed the name from Stamping, Ink because I have a lot more I want to talk about other than just stamping. The new name is Just Junk. My last name is Junker and so I thought it fit (I’m tossing it around, but might rename it). Not many cool projects to show you just yet, but I will leave you with a pic from my baby shower last month:

1. Don’t forget your list.
2. Yield to pedestrians.
3. Expect to wait in line.
4. Don’t forget your list.
5. Cookies=shopping fuel.
6. Use the bathroom before you get in line. (especially helpful for pregnant shoppers)
7. Time spent looking for a close parking spot is precious shopping time wasted.
8. Don’t forget that other list you made too.
9. Reindeer that poop candy are really not that funny. (get one for your brother anyway)
10. For heavens sake, keep the receipt!
11. Hide the real gift (Outback gift card) in the pooping reindeer box! (slap your knee while laughing at how funny this is going to be)
12. If all else fails, get a gift card. (probably go ahead and get the gift card anywayz)

Another Theme Change

Are you getting tired of the theme changing yet? Ok this is my final theme change. I will be adding a custom header in the future. We’ll see.

My workshop was a success tonight. I had 5 ladies and one talented kiddo stamping with me. I booked a workshop and sold several catalogs. Not too shabby.

I really don’t cook…

BUT look what I made tonight for dinner!

It’s Chicken Breast Stuffed with Goast Cheese and Basil. Find the recipe here. It has an awesome mushroom sauce. I put some orzo pasta on the side (it’s great with the mushroom sauce too.) I think the next time I make it I will add some sundried tomatoes to the stuffing part.

And for dessert:

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with Grasshopper cookies and Cool Whip. Delicious and refreshing! Also, I stuck a hershey’s chocolate stick in for a garnish…WHOA! Watch out, I’m getting all cook-y.

Also, I’ve changed my theme again. This will be permanent because I’ve been begging WordPress to add this theme. Don’t you just love the colors and design!

A new look

Here’s a new look for my blog. It’s alittle cleaner and I like the colors better. I am still hoping wordpress will add some neater themes in the future. Let me know what you think about the new look.

This & That

Only odds and ends to report today – no productive stamping…sorry

I went to Graceland (Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis) with my Mom on Thursday.

It was pretty fun. I’ve never been, which is a sin if you live in West TN. Elvis had some awesome 70’s style. I thought it was cool, but I can see now why everyone is like, “Elvis’s house is SO tacky!” Well they left it the way it was when he died. And that was what was “in” then. I thought it was a great preservation of the period style. He had a TV in every room! even the dining room. We got to see some of his psychadellic jumpsuits – I was like “I wonder if that smell is Elvis’s BO?” So, if you are ever in Memphis, don’t miss Graceland! haha

When we went to Memphis Thursday I got to go to a REAL yarn store. Yarniverse is awesome…I think I petted every skein in the whole place. I bought some yarn and here’s what I’ve got so far:

Here’s my current crafty project. It’s a purse – more of a rectangle right now. I’m knitting it with Cascade 220. It will be felted and I’m planning to make the straps longer than what the pattern calls for.

We also went to an AWESOME stamping/scrapbook store in Memphis called Eclectica. Here’s the only thing I got. Man, I was good!

Elsie is my fav paper scrapper. Her book has 52 challenges. I’m thinking of doing all the challenges and making a special blog about it. hmmmm…. that sounds like a lot of work – especially for a nursing student taking 21 hours this semester. Maybe if I cut out studying….ok I’ll keep ya posted.

I’ve been knitting lately as well….here’s a day in the life of my most recent WIP (work in progress). It’s another felted clutch like the one I made a while back.
